The Borini’s beautiful Milan home made a perfect backdrop for their Italy Newborn Photography. Their baby girl, Stella, made an early entrance into the world and it was incredibly precious being invited to take Natural Newborn Portraits for them to remember this time.
Like so many of my family photography clients, Erin & Fabio Borini haven’t called Milan (or Italy!) home for long. While Fabio is Italian, the pair moved here from the UK when he began to play for AC Milan, one of Milan’s football teams*. From what I can tell though, they immediately made themselves at home. Their apartment in Milan’s centre was spacious and light, making a beautiful backdrop for their Italy Newborn Photography as they cooed over baby Stella. Even though Stella started the shoot a little unsettled, it was nothing lots of cuddles and a feed couldn’t fix!
I’ve always taken a documentary approach to photography, whether it be for weddings, family portraits, or Italy Newborn Photography. For those of you who aren’t photographers, you’re likely wondering what that means exactly. Basically, lifestyle photography means photographing moments as they happen so that the final portraits are natural, authentic, and real.
I want you to be able to look back on these photos 6-months or 5-years down the track and be transported to the hazy newborn days, when every cry is new and every wrinkly expression is beyond beautiful.
Of course, I’m not a parent myself, but I hear time & time again that these newborn days go by fast. Friends say they wish they could go back, while still loving watching their tiny babies grow into little people with characters of their own. And listening to them as they find their feet as parents makes me realise that it’s incredibly special to be able to capture the joy and love of those first days. Not just for you to look back on when you begin to feel nostalgic, but also for your kids to have in the future – a wonderful gift to show them how it all began, and just how loved they were from the very first moment.
If you’d like to book in for some Natural Newborn Portraits, then contact me now and let’s book it in. Just click on this link and fill in the form – it will only take 2 minutes!
