Perth’s unsuspecting blue boat shed could be the perfect backdrop for your Perth Elopement, and Susie & Ethan’s gorgeous day is proof!

Family photos taken on a lazy summer evening in Fremantle, Western Australia with the Tougas family. We took the family for an adventure across Fremantle, stopping along High Street, the Bathers Beach Art Precinct, the Esplanade and Kuld Creamery.

Even since I’ve moved to Milan, Fremantle in Western Australia has to be one of my favourite locations to take photos. Alex & Mel’s Engagement Photos, which were filled with love & laughter, was the perfect chance to get back to some of those spots with some truly beautiful people.

Becky & Cal’s Sustainable Backyard Wedding in Nedlands was truly an epic event to have been a part of. Asides from the fact that they chose to host a plastic-free wedding, using as many sustainable vendors as possible, they also handled the day with an unending sense of style, grace and love.

We headed over to Sir James Mitchell Park just before sunset to escape the heat and let Sally roam free… With wide-open green spaces, white sand beaches and a view of the Perth city skyline over the Swan River, it was an absolute dream.

Scott & Holly’s Bridgetown Wedding was a joyous community celebration, and there was barely a person there who didn’t proclaim it ’the best wedding ever’ the next morning over barbecued bacon & egg rolls.

Jibb & Tripthi’s wedding was an incredibly beautiful community effort, as friends & family pitched in to create the perfect day for them. It was a stunning day with tributes to all the various places they’ve called home, and so incredibly wonderful to be a part of.

They were married in a beautiful, classic ceremony at Quarry Farm in Whitby, nearby to where we all grew up, in a room filled with childhood friends and extended family – a tight knit, longstanding community all eager to witness Glen & Kara’s new beginning and commitment to one another.

“We moved from room to room in their plant-filled, character home, as I shot mostly in silence while Jinn & Sarah played with Alexa, their most magical tiny human, my shutter clicking every so often while I took my time gauging the light and the scenes in front of me.”

There’s nothing quite like getting to take photos of friends who are celebrating some of life’s most important moments, and this weekend, I’ll get to do just that with two wonderful people – Glen & Kara.
