Back in June, I decided to offer analogue mini sessions in the hopes of challenging myself, and of shooting more on the medium I started with. What I didn’t quite expect was to find myself welcomed into the home of a gorgeous duo like Felicity & Otis to capture some family portraits. Felicity has created a beautiful little world for her son in their home situated in the side streets of Fremantle – a place where he can roam freely; explore & imagine, dream & discover.
Between the two of them, they’ve created a time machine and a gold mine, a little treasure chest filled with things that to us might seem like junk, but to Otis are pure treasure, and like many of us, Felicity well knows the pain of standing on a stray piece of lego which Otis has successfully spread all across his floor and under his bed.
Theirs is a home full of imagination and good-old fashioned play, and to be welcomed into this world for an hour was truly a pleasure.
If you’re interested in booking family portraits – analogue or digital – please do get in contact! I’d love to capture some memories for you & yours.
